The Pure Bar Review!

Do I have any raw food eaters out there? If you don't know what that means, a raw food diet is where you don't eat processed or cooked foods. You eat raw foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, seeds, nuts, grains, beans, or dried fruit. People follow a raw food diet because heating food above a certain temperature is believed to destroy valuable enzymes and nutritional value of the foods.

I don't personally follow a raw foods diet, but I do know people who do and they love it. So, what does this have to do with my review? Well, the Pure Bar is raw, uncooked and unprocessed!

Pure Bar sent me samples of their bars to try. To my surprise, my favorite was the Apple Cinnamon bar. Usually I like the chocolate varieties, but this time I was shocked that I liked that one the best. The Wild Blueberry was my second favorite. I was happy that they weren't too sweet. I can't eat "other" bars for breakfast, because I don't like sweet stuff when I wake up (except for in my coffee), but I can certainly eat these - yum! My 3 year old loved them too (he's my little taste tester LOL). He liked the Cranberry Orange the best (he's not the typical 3yr old picky eater...can you tell).

Whether you follow a raw foods diet or not, you will definitely want to try these! They are available at Trader Joe's, and I've also seen them at my Henry's, Sprout's and Ralph's (which actually has them on sale right now 2/$3.00 - you can print out a coupon HERE and get one for only .50 cents)!
