Greensbury Market Review!

Before I went organic, I used to send Omaha Steaks to some friends that lived far away as Christmas gifts. Now, I will be sending Organic Beef from Greensbury Market.

Greensbury Market generously sent me some organic Grass-Fed Top Serloin Steak and Chicken to review. Let me just say - yummy! Their Top Serloin was the best I've ever tasted! It tasted just like a Filet, it was so moist and tender. My husband put it on the BBQ with nothing on it, just cooked it. I thought for sure he had added something like butter or salt or pepper, but he said he didn't. There was no fat on it at all, so I didn't leave half of it on the plate like I would if there were a lot of fat. I don't particularly care for eating that, so I always cut it off. This time I didn't have to.

I used their chicken in a marinara recipe. Basically, I just browned the chicken in a pan and then added pasta sauce and Parmesan cheese. I put that on some pasta noddles with a side salad and it was delicious. The chicken browned perfectly and stayed nice and juicy inside.

The packaging is great too. It comes in a an insulated cooler packed with dry ice. The meat inside is vacuum sealed in a cute little box with the Greensbury logo on it.

I definitely recommend Greensbury. Although organic, grass-fed beef is more expensive then convention beef, think about it this way. If you go to a decent priced restaurant and order a 9 oz non-organic filet, it will cost $21.99. At Greensbury, you can get an 8 oz for $14.99. Throw in some organic garlic mashed potatoes and organic asparagus and you are at the the same price or less! In my opinion it tastes better and is better for you!

Greenbury Meat is dry-aged for 21 days to ensure you get a tender cut of meat and you can definitely tell the difference. Grass fed beef has less fat and more omega-3's then grain-fed beef, and they don't use any synthetic growth hormones or antibiotics unlike conventional farms.

So, if you are thinking about sending meat as a gift this year or just want some for yourself, Greensbury is offering FREE shipping on all of their Value Packs or you can order Beef, Chicken or Pork individually to get in the price range you are looking for.

I was not compensated to do this review. I am however an affiliate with Greensbury Market which means if you order through my link, I will make a commission from the sale. I was also provided with the samples to try for free. This did not have an effect on my opinion. Thank you Emily & Debbie from Greensbury for for this great opportunity!
