I just talked to Whole Foods and the blueberry one-day sale was cancelled due to a crop shortage. :(

Thank you for the heads up --but, it would have been helpful for the cancellation of this deal to have been posted --I sent my husband out before work and there were no blueberries on sale. Ugh - an extra 1/2 hour on the road for him.

Darlene and Leila, I am so sorry! This is not the case at my store. I called and verified and just went to get some, and they are having the one day sale at my location.

I am so sorry to hear that they cancelled it at yours, I never received any cancellation e-mail from Whole Foods and can't find anything on their website or Facebook/Twitter page :(

I'm sorry to hear that your husband went out of his way for nothing :(

I went to Whole Foods this morning (in Southeastern PA). The organic blueberries were on sale - but they were $3.99 a pint (normal price $4.99) - I did not buy them - so sad, I had plans for those blueberries! lol.

Yes....our local Whole Foods in North Wales should have posted something on their Facebook site. I would have gone for nothing as well had I not been questioning that I didn't see anything about the sale by e-mail or on their Facebook site. I had to call the store. I had orders from my whole family to bring back so we were all disappointed. They can't do anything about crop shortages but they could have updated the info online.

I agree Darlene, I was surprised they did not send an e-mail cancelling it or saying to call your local store, because they said it was national and many of the store web pages had it posted, but never posted a retraction - such a bummer :(
