Easy Organic Whipped Cream Recipe

  • 1 Cup Organic Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Organic Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Organic Vanilla

Before you start, put a metal bowl in the freezer for about 5 - 15 minutes to get it nice and cold. Add the heavy whipping cream to the bowl and either hand whip with a wisk or use a mixer and mix until it starts to get a little thicker.

Add the vanilla and the powdered sugar and continue to mix. You will know it is done when it has medium peeks. Just be careful, if you over mix, you will end up with butter!

I find it better to use whipping cream that is non UHT (Ultra High Temperature) pasteurized. I like the cream from Straus Creamery or Clover Organics for this as neither are UHT pasteurized.

If you want to change it up a bit, change the vanilla to a peppermint extract or a coconut extract. You can even color your whipped cream with just a small amount of natural food dye. You can even add a pinch of cinnamon or spice to jazz it up for a certain recipe.

Don't buy the stuff in cans or tubs when it is so easy to make yourself!
